One of my colleagues on the West coast is Hank Blank-who is a Marketing Consultant and lives in Laguna Niguel, Cal where it was 79 degrees today- (in NY, it is 3) and he grew up in Canada where it was also very cold. He sat on a beach in Laguna Beach when he was 22 and said, "I want to live here" and because of his network-- he eventually did.
